If they were legal, we'd have to decide what they did. And specifying tab
handling is a big fat nuisance. :)
Interpreters should not shut down in protest (unless they are set to a
very high level of error-checking, which non-developers will generally not
use.) Obviously the conservative path is to render a tab as "some
whitespace", but we don't want to encourage new games to rely on this, so
we declare it illegal.

It's a nice distinction to tell American soldiers (and Iraqis) to die in
Iraq for the sake of democracy (ignoring the question of whether it's
