I wrote a program that simulates a classic museum exhibit that
demonstrates bellcurve of random distribution (drop ping pong balls
through a grid of pins). You can find it in the Unix Frotz tarball.

It sounds like it would be a good idea to put together an updated
z-machine test suite.
